A former 1960-circa Omega watch that belonged to the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, Elvis Presley, was sold for US$1.8 million at an auction by Phillips. The sale set a record price for the Swiss watch company. The watch is an 18ct white-gold, diamond-encrusted timepiece was sold at a figure that was over 18 times higher than its estimate.
