The new Navitimer 8 collection from Breitling is expected to debut new watch option and color variations. The latest changes are expected after the announcement of a new collaboration with United Arab Emirates’ airline, Etihad Airways. Breitling has made a commitment towards more aviation-themed watches recently, and this partnership continues that trend. One of the newest watches in Breitling’s Navitimer 8 collection is one that features Arabic numerals and text.

The Aviator 8 Day and Date 41 Etihad Airways Limited Editions is presented in a 41mm case with black DLC-coated steel. The design reflects on a more retro style with vintage lines and conservative size. It is powered by the COSC chronometer, a certified version of the ETA 2834-2 that Breitling refers as the “caliber B45”. In addition, it contains automatic winding and around 40 hours of extra reserve battery. Owners can see the gold hour indices as well as date indicators represented with Arabic numerals.

With around 500 pieces expected to see the market, the Aviator 8 Day & Date 41 Etihad Airways Limited Edition is exclusively available in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and will see a worldwide release in 2020 at a market rate of $4,995.
