Omega Seamaster ‘Michael Phelps’ Limited Edition Watch
Record-breaking Olympic champion swimmer, Michael Phelps, is the most decorated Olympian of all time, carrying an unprecedented 28 total medals, of which 23 are gold. Now retired following the 2016 Rio Olympics, his friendship with official Olympic Timekeeper, Omega has culminated in the production of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean “Michael Phelps” Limited Edition watch, which celebrates the decorated Olympian’s major achievements.
The watch is based on the Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5mm watch introduced last year. It has a 45.5mm stainless steel case with a uni-directional bezel created from blue ceramic. In addition, it has the 15-minute markings styled with orange rubber. Users can also see the helium escape valve with a water-resistance up to 600m.
Wearers will be enjoying this Michael Phelps edition of the Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph in its blue-themed colors. The dial is accented with bright white ceramic and blue touched onto the hour indexes along with white luminescent features. The hour, minute, and central chronograph seconds hands are also consistent with the blue theme. The 9 o’clock seconds hand is blue, and the 12-hour chronograph totalizer is also decked out with the same color scheme. Finally, the watch is completed with a blue rubber strap.
