The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced an extension of their global partnership with Swiss watch company, Omega, through to 2032. This will extend the existing partnership by 12 years to include the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing and the 2032 Summer games. The news was announced jointly by IOC President Thomas Bach, Omega chairman Nick Hayek, and Omega President and chief executive Raynald Aestchlimann at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Omega’s original partnership with the IOC started in 1932, marking the 2032 Summar games as its 100th anniversary. The partnership highlights Omega’s ambitions to continue providing top-of-the-industry timing, scoring, and in-venue results systems for events at the Olympic Games.

“Omega is the world’s leader in sports timekeeping, and the extension of our agreement through to 2032 means Olympic athletes will continue to be able to rely on Omega’s expertise,”, stated Thomas Bach.
