Casio Collaborates with Pokemon for Baby-G 25th Anniversary Collection

Casio has released a brand new version of the Baby-G in the form of a collaboration watch. Based out of an exciting new collaboration with Pokémon, Casio is producing a watch with a series of 90s silhouettes from the show and a specialty Pikachu camouflage pattern.

This latest collaboration from the Pokémon Company is bringing about a new lineup of women’s watches many of which feature the fan favourite Pikachu. This timepiece is not the first collaboration that Casio has completed with this brand. The baby G celebrated its 25th anniversary with a collaboration including a Pikachu with a heart-shaped tail.

This latest design has much more subtle looks to it and the strap showcases an image of a Pikachu with a specialty etched backing mark. The minute and hour hands also have the face of a Pikachu and there is a touch that can have the wearer looking down into the gaze of their favourite Pokémon all the time.

This is an especially cute time piece and it comes with all of the same benefits that you would expect from a traditional piece of G shock technology. The device comes with shock resistance, 100 m water resistance, super illumination LED lighting, world time for up to 48 cities, five daily alarms, a countdown timer, 12 or 24 hour clocks as well as a full auto calendar update.

It estimated that this newest watches going to retail for around $150 and no be coming out starting in February from select retailers. The SoHo store will be one of the first and best places that you can pick up one of these devices. All the images and the watches will be done in collaboration with Nintendo, game freak and Pokemon as well as Casio.
