Casio G-Shock MR-G Akazonae Watch

To celebrate the milestone of the one hundred millionth G-Shock to be produced, Casio has given this particular model a commemorative caseback. The G-Shock line consists of a range of collections, which has helped span over one hundred million units produced. This is quite a milestone with the first G-Shock being produced in 1983. Casio made sure this was fitted with a G-Shock MR-G G1000B-1A4 “Akazonae” from the luxury collection of the G-Shock line.

The watch features a titanium case with DLC-coating and deep hardening with a tint of red and gold accents. It different colors and accompanies other special edition G1000 watches such as the “Hammer Tone”. The name comes from a special military force during Japan’s Warring States Period, who utilized a deep red uniform. It also has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, has 200m of water resistance, measures 54.7 by 49.8mm, and comes in weighing 153g. As of now, there are no news of this special edition watch being available to the public.
