What captures the affection of many watch fans is the effort invested into the accuracy, durability, design, and features they exhibit. Most watch fans know that one of the most popular mechanical time tellers is Casio’s G-Shock line, featuring the traditional quartz and plastic design available to buyers for a fraction of their production price. With the 35th anniversary approaching, Casio is creating a special set of watches for the G-Shock collection.

The recently announced set numbers no more than 5, and are presented in a matte black theme. They use a special black coating to absorb light. Each of them is marked with a “Since 1983” text, a pop-out feature in front of the eyes of the wearer and onlookers. The gold-plated keeper for the strap is also engraved with the “since 1983” text. The caseback is colored with goal with the G-Shock logo in 35th anniversary fare.
