A new Heritage Military Marine Nationale watch has been unveiled by Longines. The watch is a tribute of the timeless mid 20th century classics produced for the French Navy. The watch is a 38.5mm design that uses the aesthetics requested from Longines when working with the French Navy in 1947. It has warm colors and a lower pronounced dial, with the same engravings and details that the original watch carried. The details include the MN letters, which stand for ‘Military Nationale’, which are engraved on the case back. In addition, it uses the L888.5 caliber automatic movement and a silicon balanced spring exclusive to Longines designs.
