Longines Master Vintage Moonphase Collection
Longines has maintained the Master Collection for over a decade and it has always been a major centerpiece of classic designs without going too far into vintage recreations. The moonphase watches are the most recent additions to the collection, with around seven different designs released under this concept. The moonphase watches utilize a common layout, with central running seconds and a long six o-lock register that includes the date and phase of the moon. It provides a traditional element to the modern approach to watch designs.
The Longines moonwatch collection includes seven variations released under the 40mm and 42 mm case sizes. In terms of their material, they are presented in stainless steel, with consumers having the choice of embossed leather straps or a steel bracelet. Owners can have their silver dial, Arabic numerals, blue dial, diamond markers all within this collection. All of the models are powered by the Longines Caliber L899, which is an alternate version of the ETA A31.L91 movement. The average costs for the models are $2,500, with versions containing diamonds priced at $2,800. It’s a modest figure that has resulted in the collection’s popularity with watch enthusiasts as well as first-time buyers.
