Special Edition Hublot Dedicated to Rhino Conservation
Hublot recently debuted the Big Bang Unico watch, and collectors got their first glimpse of a watch that is dedicated to the conservation of Rhinos. The company is working with the SORAI agency, which stands for “Save Our Rhino Africa India”. Coming in a 45mm microblasted ceramic case, the Big Bang Unico emphasizes its beige color along with black pushers and hardware.
Watch enthusiasts can also observe the skeleton dial, which features a consistent, beige-sand color scheme. The 9 o’clock subdial contains the silhouette of a Rhino. Hublot has utilized the HUB1242 movement to power the watch. The power reserve lasts up to 72 hours and the watch carries a water resistance rating of up 100 meters. The display back of the watch carries the SORAI name and also features the watch edition number. There are only 100 limited examples priced at $25,000 USD, all proceeds of the sale of a Big Bang Unuco watch will be contributed towards SORAI programs and efforts in Rhino conservation.
