In January 2016, Tissot inked a five-year deal to sponsor the Tour de France, the premier cycling competition of the world. The deal was supplemented with a host of watches introduced to appeal to cycling fans. One of them is the Tissot T-Race Cycling Tour de France.

The collection has a number of features that reference the competition, including a yellow trim surrounding the dial and strap that is comparable to the yellow jersey that race champions wear. The watches contain a black strap that also references the tyre tread of a bicycle. Finally, wearers can se the exclusive Tour de France logo engraved on the case back.
