One Piece-Inspired Luffy G-Shock Watch
The Casio G-Shock watch has been considered one of the most collectible digital watches in the world. One of the latest releases includes a collaboration between Dragon Ball Z and Evangelion to produce a series of high-profile anime and manga themed pieces.
The One Piece-inspired timepiece is a G-Shock watch that is inspired by the main character of the series, Monkey D. Luffy.
Luffy is widely considered to be a happy figure but the mood in this watch is far from bubbly. The motive here is mostly black and it includes imagery of lefty in mid-flight as well as a series of gold accents on the face that complement the monochrome style watch base. The minute touches as well as the details on the face include details of a small straw hat and the wanted text on the hands. This creates an Annex referencing the scar on Luffy’s chest across the watch.
The Jolly Roger style box includes a pirate flag at the rear of the case and a skull and cross bones across the X symbol that is embossed with the G-Shock logo. The details here of this timepiece in its limited edition have the drop of the Once Piece GA-110JOP at US$245. This will be a must-have for fans of the series and absolute must collect for fans of the G shock who are interested in getting their hands on all of the watches in the One Piece anime design.
