Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is gifting his offensive linemen a highly unique collectible watch for their performance this year. All 13 of his lineman are receiving a diamond crusted G-Shock Casio. Burrow worked with Leo Frost, a professional jeweller who regularly works with athletes and celebrities to create unique pieces.

Burrow created the line of unique watches to get his lineman something special for Christmas. As a fan of the G-Shock as one of the most durable watches over the last 40 years, he created a version that sports 14 karat diamonds in a gold paved setting. The custom backing is engraved with each player’s name from the starters down to practice squad players.

Burrow is not the first to build an upscale version of the G-Shock. John Mayer released a collaboration this year featuring a sellout version of the line with his own vision. Burrow has worked with Frost on several occasions to build pendants for friend Boosie Badazz as well as his own diamond crusted Cartier Santos which he first showed off in March.

Diamond crusted G shocks could be a thing to watch for in the coming future with many collectors greatly valuing this watch for its daily wear. The end of the G shock customization is not coming anytime soon in the NFL and it is only a matter of time before we may start to see some of these watches hitting shelves as collectors pieces in the future.
