Omega to Release Two New Railmaster Models
Omega has unveiled two new Railmaster watches, reviving the iconic anti-magnetic timepiece with fresh colorways and subtle design enhancements. Originally introduced in 1957 as part of Omega’s “Professional Line,” the Railmaster was crafted for railway staff, engineers, and scientists—those working in high magnetic environments. Its notable resistance to magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss was a technical leap forward at the time.
2025 Railmaster
The 2025 Railmaster release includes two distinct 38mm stainless steel models, each blending heritage with modern styling. Both versions take cues from Omega’s Seamaster Aqua Terra collection, a design direction the Railmaster has followed since its early-2000s revival.
The first variant sports a gray dial with a black gradient edge. White Arabic numerals and baton indexes, coated in white Super-LumiNova, ensure legibility in all lighting conditions. This model is offered with either a classic black leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
Novonappa Leather Strap
The second version features a beige dial paired with a small seconds sub-dial located above 6 o’clock. Like its counterpart, the hands and markers are treated with Super-LumiNova for nighttime visibility. This edition is available on either a golden brown Novonappa leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
While these new Omega models preserve the Railmaster’s utilitarian spirit, they also elevate the collection with refined materials and understated style. Omega has not yet announced an official release date or price, but both versions are expected to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts who value precision, history, and timeless design.
