OMEGA Celebrates 37th America’s Cup with Special Edition Seamaster Diver 300M
Swiss watchmaker OMEGA marks its Official Timekeeper role at the prestigious 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona with a special edition of its renowned Seamaster Diver 300M. Running from August 22 to October 27, this historic yacht race, the oldest international competition in any sport, receives a fitting tribute in the form of a collectible timepiece, tailored specifically for the world of sailing.
Seamaster Diver 300M
The Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup is crafted in stainless steel, showcasing OMEGA’s signature wave-pattern dial, a hallmark of this model since its debut in 1993. The blue ceramic unidirectional bezel incorporates a regatta scale, complete with two 5-minute pre-start sections and a starting segment inspired by a regatta flag. The dial’s nautical essence is further accentuated with a white ceramic surface, laser-engraved to produce a wave-like relief, adding texture and dimension to the matte finish. Additionally, the central seconds hand carries a counterweight shaped like the America’s Cup trophy, echoing the blue of Barcelona’s America’s Cup logo.
Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806
With a 42mm case diameter, the Omega watch is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, certified by METAS for precision, magnetic resistance, and durability. The case back proudly displays the America’s Cup “Auld Mug” and “B for Barcelona” logo on its sapphire crystal, tying the watch’s design firmly to this elite competition.
OMEGA’s Quick-Change system allows for effortless swaps between the stainless steel bracelet and blue rubber strap. Presented in a commemorative box with red stitching, the Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup offers sailing fans and collectors a sleek, high-performance timepiece that merges OMEGA’s diving heritage with America’s Cup spirit.
