Casio G-Shock Unveils Limited Edition “To Be Hero X” Collaboration
Casio has officially announced a limited-edition collaboration between its G-Shock line and the Chinese animated series To Be Hero X. Three exclusive models were revealed on Weibo and will be released exclusively in China, each inspired by characters and themes from the anime.
Leading the lineup is the G-Shock GA-110HDS-7APRT, a striking model based on the Hidden Glow Vol. 2 series. It features a clean blue-and-white color scheme with phosphorescent dial highlights. The anime’s premiere date and time, “202504060830,” is printed on the strap, reinforcing the collectible value. Retailing for CNY 1,090 (~$152), this model includes features like world time and a 1/1000-second stopwatch.
Next is the GA-2100AS-5APRT, a design inspired by the character Lucky Cyan. It pairs a beige case and strap with blue-green graphics and an octagonal bezel crafted from bio-resin. Built with Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure, this model offers world time, a dual LED backlight, and rugged durability. It’s priced at CNY 990 (~$138).
The third entry, the GA-2100-1APRT, takes design cues from the character Lin Ling, also known as The Commoner. This blacked-out Casio watch features gold accenting on the strap and includes functions like five daily alarms and a 1/100-second stopwatch. At CNY 890 (~$124), it’s the most affordable in the set.
Each watch will come in custom packaging, adding to their collector appeal. While the collaboration is China-exclusive, the base models can still be found globally, including through Casio’s Amazon storefront.
